Widow and destitute women are completely isolated from her relations and community. They have young children. Mostly they have not had any skills. Poverty, hunger and sexual exploitation are a tragedy of life for them and children. ROSI Foundation trained them in skill training like Jute bag making, tailoring and other livelihoods trades. They are come under Counseling in legal and gender matters and motivation on human rights, health, etc. some of them were provided to Income generation and self employment inputs freely. They are earning from jute bag production, tailoring and other income generation activities. They are become independence and self dependence. Their exploitation, isolation and poverty have reduced. A life of dignity is now theirs.
In the works, another two hindered beneficiaries (widows/destitute) have been identified and are under Jute bag making training. They are required to be provided by income generation input –Sewing Machine.
