TRUCS
Trichy Mandala Amaippusara Mattrum Kattida Thozhilar Nala Sangam” (Trichirapalli Regional Unorganised and Construction workers Society - TRUCS) was a registered society under the Trade union act and organizing 6250 unorganised and construction labours in six districts of Perambalur, Trichy, Pudukkottai, Thanjavur, Nagapattinam and Thiruvarur in Tamil Nadu state (India).
It was set up and is being promoted by ROSI Foundation. It is one of CBOs of ROSI Foundation.
Although it is as CBO, it has separate legal identity, structure and functional system. Supporting works as facilitation, training, obtaining of ID card and welfare scheme, etc and joint action are being done as issues, rights and legal action by us towards promotion and self sustaining of the organistion. The society is with 65 percent of women members, who mostly as construction labour, house maid, home based workers, quarry workers, dhobi, barber, artisans, cobbler loading and unloading women, fisher women, salt pan working women, etc

- 11 issues were taken and solved
- 560 were trained in legal and lnaour matter
- 5550 got ID card for unorganized labour
